The real reason is all the rain we get down here in the Ozarks can flood a trail that looks perfectly normal. One of my friends just hydro locked and totaled his land cruiser so I don’t want to take any chances. Sorry @StayinStock, you really tried.

My brother purchased this snorkel for me as a gift. It was from ebay and was $198. It has been installed for over 1 year and still looks brand new. Template that came with it was on point as well so no issues there. I compared this one to some of the ones a few people I know have (including the oem TRD PRO) and the build quality excellent. That is my personal experience. In addition, my truck lives outside so it is in direct sunlight.

Makes me super excited to get my snorkel in. I have seen a few people complain about the Ebay ones and the templates and fitment but yours looks great!

I saw that too but it could be installer error. Best thing to do is line it up and take a close look before cutting. If it is off make the necessary adjustments.

 

Thats what I was thinking. I am going to cut the big hole out first then triple check to make sure the bolt holes line up before I send it and drill the holes
