Yes lots of room, I'm over 6' and sleep in my DCSB with the tailgate down.
In UT there's not many bugs and nights are warm in the desert so typically there's no need to cover the end of the tailgate area, but if there's a need then the medium DAC tent is the way to go. Originally purchased it from Softopper with poles.
    https://softopper.com/products/camper-top-tent-mid-size/
I've camped in the rain in OR/WA/BC before for a few nights and both the ST and DAC held out admirably with a coat of 303 marine protectant spray. Its not the best solution but if you travel light into primitive camp areas you can't beat the combo.

I've only had mine for a few months now, but other than rolling the sides up now and then it's always on.

I’ve been running a bestop for over a year, I spend lots of time in the desert it gets dusty but it cleans up nice.

Hi, out of interest how Dusty does the inside of the box get?

FYI I currently have a roll up tonneau cover and I have ‘dust sealed’ the tailgate so even the finest dust stays out.

Very dusty. I am moving to a SmartCap for that very reason. Every trip out my bed, gear and softopper get wrecked with dust.

i wish i had photos hahaha, i haven't sealed the tailgate but i did do the cubbies and that helped a lot. i also filled in all the corners with extra padding. how fine is the dust in Hawaii?

Yesterday we drove up to 11,600ft elevation on the side of a volcano, the dust is extremely fine, was off road for 5 hours and had minimal dust in the bed. The first off road drive I did with the tonneau cover on I pretty much had to brush the dust out of the bed, I was amazed at how much gets sucked in through the tailgate.

I have since used the ESI tapered tailgate seal and duct tape in various places - zero dust now...
