Ball buster of a climb but totally worth it.

Unfortunately some bad weather is rolling in so likely no more climbing for a couple days. Which is all well and fine, it’ll give my heel blisters time to heal.

 

Entered the Northside classic show here last minute and took first place in middleweight class. My knees hurt.

 

Fuck yeah

 

Qualified for 2022 Nats now as well. We will see.

 

Now go qualify for SC Nationals in October and come see me, daddy.

 

Will be interesting to see where they hold it.

 

It's in Roanoke, VA

 

Has to be better than Minneapolis or fuckin Saint Lewis.

Yeah I'll be there. Its in October, I think the 15-17 but not sure.

 

It’s still pretty sore after rugby but it hasn’t re-broken yet so I guess that’s good!

The real bitch is this fucking bicep tendon. Finally getting an MRI in the next couple of weeks after going to the for it for the first time in September.

 

I always ask my surgeon to tell me the cold heart truth. Surgery is $$$ and risk, but is it the best option. If so I do.

I hope it resolves for you and you get back to it

Yikes, I don’t envy that at all. Is she doing well?

 

C 4-5 disc replacement. She's amazingly well, thanks for asking. Dropped her off May 14 at 5AM, picked her up May 15 at 5PM. First several days were not ideal, lot of pain and limited ability to do anything. Eagerly awaiting the followup tomorrow but I think she's on if not ahead of schedule.

 

Wow. Doesn’t sound fun. I hope she continues to do well!

How does one tape these?

Rookie fucking mistake. I need to hit another 14er tomorrow and both heels are raw.

Gotta find a way to power through!

If anyone has any blister advice please advise.

 

I haven't had one worth talking about for some time, but way back in the HS football days I had one and the trainer basically took a piece of foam, cut hole in it and taped it to my heel. Not entirely sure if it helped much since I was now a bit lopsided in my gate.

 

This is not a totally horrible idea. Hmmm I’m going to have to see what foam I can try to find.
