    So we got out this weekend and had a blast, but also brought up some sore talking points.

    @CBI Offroad Fab Please take a look into a redesign, because your current design will not support the weight of a 33 inch tire 5 gallons of water and a full gas can.

    I have now gone through 2 complete latches and three u bolts. When I brought this to their attention they claimed no responsibility and sent me off to the latch manufacturer, whom I had an in depth conversation with one of their engineers and sent pictures of the system. They claim CBI is using their latch incorrectly, but sent me two new latches, one is broken, the other one has a cracked baseplate from one trip, and now no ubolt. The bumper this last weekend was weighted down with one gas can and one water can, a highlift, and my spare. My inner tierods are no good so I was taking it easy, and I was driving 10 mph when it failed. This bumper has saved my truck from damage multiple times, and I love the look of it, but I will be working on redesign of the closure as it truly needs two points of contact. I had recently replaced all the bearings, and it was good to go. The cbi dual swing outs are 2500ish for a first gen, over 5k for a t4r. That is a lot of money for a closure that doesnt stay closed.

    What do I expect out of my rant, nothing. I am not an influencer, and only my friends will read this and laugh, but hopefully maybe cbi will actually try and address this for future customers. My ship has sailed and I will address this, but thats my rant.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    OMG I almost lost my drink! Sucks that your latch broke again! Let's cut that thing up and figure out a better design. We can add some dust lights while we're at it. :boink:

    Hahah again I was looking for something else and that popped up. Yeah man this is just too much. The more it pops open the more it’s going to damage things and then I’m gonna be looking for a whole new swing out. I don’t want to spend another 2K on a rear bumper
