I wouldn’t say I’m scared. But I’ve got an MRI that morning. I don’t think I’ll be done by the time you all want to leave. I can only do weekends with the new job and have been dealing with this issue and different doctors since September so I don’t want to delay any longer!

Terrible excuse! Hope the mri doesn’t find anything major and if it does it’s easily treatable!

I know. I did cancel my other ride to go on this one though!

Im hoping so, too! Likely a torn bicep tendon. Hoping to avoid surgery.

So I’m very close to pulling the trigger on a project motorcycle, but I will need to find a way to get it back to my house. It is not running but rolls and has brakes.
It is currently buried in a garage about 10 miles away from my house.

Any ideas? I can borrow a pick up truck but don’t know how we will get it into the bed, or even how to secure it. I was thinking about renting one of those little trailers from Penske/Home Depot.

cant roll at all at all?? uhaul has a motorcycle trailer with a ramp that the whole this is not high off the ground at all, easier to get it in there as opposed to up into a pick up bed, its like 19 bucks for 24hrs

    any pics?

It does roll. The tires hold air and the brakes work, so we can at least push it around and stabilize it. It also has the side stand and center stand.

I will look into the U-Haul trailer, that could be perfect!

its like 4x8 or 4x9, and has a wheel chock in the front, super easy to strap anything down in this thing i wouldnt even bother with the kick stands at that point most likely

You really shouldn't ever tie down a bike with the kickstand down. Big risk of breaking either the stand itself or it's mounting point.

If its at the top of a hill, and you live at the bottom, then just jump on and go. Probably test the brakes first though

Rented a Uhaul motorcycle trailer for the move from Houston to Austin (2.5 hours-ish) worked like a charm! Low to the ground , anchor points. Only about $15 to rent.

Fourth or fifth for the U-haul. Those things are great.

But more importantly, what's the project? Pics?
