We are a talkative bunch today. Struggled a bit getting up and out the door at my normal time today but, judging by the traffic on my way in, it seemed many others were in the same boat.

 

I can not get back into the work groove today, that's for damn sure.

 

Yep, not much to say here. I'm a little slow to get back into the swing of things.

Anyone here golf? I've played my whole life and still suck, never put much into it but enjoy it quite a bit. Played at Boothbay Country Club on Friday, shot a 96 first time on the course after about 2 years. I might hit a driving range this evening.

 

Mine's gonna suck tomorrow, been off since May 13.

Oh bonus, my boss is putting me in a training class next week when I'm still taking care of my wife. What the ?!?!?!?!

 

I am taking half days for the next 2-1/2 weeks. I have some vacation time that I need to use or lose by the end of the month. I figured that was a good way to do it.

 

Damn! I'm sprinkling in a bunch of half days for the summer, not a whole 2.5 weeks though. Cool beans!

 

I can only carry two weeks of vacation into our new year (July 1) and today I realized I have almost four sitting, so that'll burn through most of what I need to.

 

You don't want to know.

It seems like a lot of you guys are only here when you guys are working and are not on while you have time off. Its exactly the opposite of what this site is probably intended for. Brilliant!

I'm like you, I enjoy playing but I suck at it. I haven't played in a few years though. Ever since my clubs were stolen.

I'm generally not on here when I'm camping because I have little or no service. When I am on here though, I really shouldn't/don't have a lot to contribute to the people who actually still own a Tacoma

 

Yeah, I'm usually only here during the week while I am at my office. When I'm gone from here I am usually not online.

All that matters is it's a good time I'm not a golfer, but if that's your jam, and you enjoy it, who's to say anything negative?

 

The last time I played I shot a 144 on a Par 72. What do I win? I think I can throw the ball further than I can drive it. Once I'm on the fairway or playing with a wedge, I'm fine...but those drives are rough.

I'm having AC installed in my house this week, so I'm basically tethered to my laptop so I can split time between work and PTO. But, it will be very worth it when I'm done.

 

I'm like you, I play but I'm not good at all. I inherited a set of clubs a while back, they're not the right size for me but I make due, gives me an excuse as to why I play so poorly. But, dog leg right, I'm your guy!

I wonder if Erik @eborgie will show up here in the next week so I can wish him a Happy Birthday.

 

I'm only logged in when I have time.. which is sporadic, especially this time of year.
That said, been getting my crap together for a banzai rip down to Corpus and back... starting Friday morning.
Wishing caps didn't have such a long lead... I'll need the space....
