    Finished this up today

Took some time and taped off everything really well and hit it all with Rust-Oleum Undercoating spray.

Yeah I know. But I've been enjoying the slow stuff lately with the 4 runner.

Somebody tried doing that in my truck this past weekend!

Except, it ain't at all like yours.

And the end result was this:

[IMG]Inferno Shock Carnage by Michael Rickerd, on Flickr

@Sixthelement and I (and a neighbor who works for OVRLND Campers) had a good time playing the "What the fuck did they do!?!" game last night.

No rear shocks leads to some very uncomfortable driving. I wouldn't recommend it.

Ouch, yeah that’s not too good. And seriously, what the fuck did they do? That is a good brain scratcher.

Driving around with no rear shocks isn’t that bad. I only did it for 2 months :anonymous:

Was the the silver or orange truck? Holy crap. I've got 2019 Tacoma TRD billies and the rear shocks you can have if you need them. They came off the 4runner when the ADS stuff went in. Just let me know.

Inferno thankfully, can't imagine that happening to the 2021.

The truck is undrivable, so I already have a set of Bilstein 4600's on order for tomorrow.

I'd be happy to pick those up from you. Just let me know the price. This is obviously something I need to plan for in the future!

I'll bring them with for the BDR. They're yours, no worries. If you do need them sooner, just let me know and we can figure something out.

More blood tests coming back "normal" or close to it! :headbang:

So my doc moved and right nearby there's a cheesesteak joint called Forefathers Steaks. As a Philly native I can authoritatively say they are the real deal. They will stand toe to toe with the famous Philly joints. Ordered w/ American cheese & green peppers, steak meat was done just right how it's supposed to be done, bread was fresh and exactly how it's supposed to be, hit that perfect bread to cheese to steak ratio, oh yeah. Definitely give them a look if you're up by the aquarium in Scottsdale.:thumbsup:

    Forefathers is legit!!!

My first experience with a proper cheesesteak was when I was stationed at NAWC Warminster, and no place even came close in AZ until I tried that place. There's one on Priest/Warner, too...

Hah, I used to go shooting at an indoor range right across the street from NAWC Warminster. It really is a small world.

I know it sounds weird as shit to someone who hasn't experienced a real steak sandwich but you can't just throw shaved steak between 2 pieces of white bread and say "what do you want? it's a steak sandwich!"

Still though my absolute favorite steak sandwich has got to have been from the food truck that was parked about a block from my apartment in Philadelphia... I remember it because of the silly name: "Happy Star American Food."
The lady who ran it was Vietnamese (I think? I never asked...) but it was cheap, they actually cleaned their grill regularly (they even had someone to handle money and someone else handle food which blew my mind!!), and they were always so pleasant.
A little tough to understand but they made GIANT steak sandwiches that were amazing for dirt cheap.

Seriously small world. It was an 18 month temp duty assignment from NAS Oceana...was also at NAS Willow Grove during that time. Working on P3's was cool and all, but was happy to get back to 14's at my regular duty station.

    Truth!

I like forefathers, my buddy from Philly says its the closest hes seen in the valley to real cheesesteak. I think they need to chop the meat a little smaller to really make it Philly style. Otherwise its good stuff.

My favorite cheesesteak is actually across the river at a little place called Pickles and Chips in Wilmington Delaware.
