Nothing special since I used to buy my own bikes, fix them up and flip them to fund my own bike.

I used to have the all chrome trispoke Dyno GT but it was stolen (I was pissed).

I have some Haro(?) now that is nothing special. It's a lead weight. I'll try to snap a picture today.

The rear wheel and handlebars (upgraded) are worth more than I paid for the bike 15 years ago. It's kinda junk. I want to invest in a new frame and parts but I need to justify using it.

Not as cool but I'll be grabbing my toolbox today. I'll be on the lookout.

 

One of the thing I'm not looking forward to is losing the capability of airing these steelies down really really low without popping a bead.

I do want to keep them, get them repaired and maybe run two sets or just hang onto them and go back if I want.

 

You'd be surprised if you haven't seen the value these days..everything went up a lot with Covid. Not even just the older stuff..new bikes of any kind flew off the shelves as did parts. My local shop cut back to 3 days a week open since they were 6-8 weeks out on repairs. I have about 10 in my fleet, my fave being my 86 Schwinn Predator Freeform EX.

$100 basket case when I got it but had almost all original parts, I restored it. Before and after

Yeah I have two of my dad's old Schwinn bikes. One purple Spyder and one orange Krate.

I put some money into my BMX bike 2 years ago. I got some Odyssey stem and bars for it. Like I said, the bars and the rear wheel are worth more than the bike alone.

 

Love them old Schwinns..I have a Kent banana seat bike, looks like hell but a fun ride.

I don't even want to think about how much I dropped into that or my latest project..old Hutch build

 

Makes perfect sense, especially if you have the space for them.

My brother and my buddy came by and helped move this box into the back room area where it will live.

Tried the electrical tape mod on the drawer handles on some of the drawers. I think I'll do the rest. Had to modify the the jackstand wall and the jack fits under the toolbox with the handle removed.

My buddy had to modify his trac-bar mount and install a new trac-bar. He also cut his front fenders and did a coolant flush.

My brother was working on his tailgate skin mod and some electrical stuff. We didn't get to his new leaf springs but he's waiting for some other stuff to come in and get it all done at once.

Still have some organization and cleaning up to do but I'm happy with the progress.

I'm back to the idea of a shed. The garage is for work. The shed can be a place to store bullshit and for yard tools.
