Just purchased at ‘21 DCSB TRD OR with lots of goodies.
Got a 7yr100k powertrain, 5yr/75k maintenance, 3yr/36k bumper to bumper warranty and I’m debating two things:
First, what makes more sense, extending the 36k miles as much of the 3years as possible on the b2b warranty?
Second, if I do off-roading and something breaks does anyone have experience with the warranty covering the repairs? After all it is called a TRD Off-Road right?

I wouldn't purchase any extra warranties other than what the factory offers. From my research it's usually a dealership scam.

Okay I know dealerships are called stealerships because they don’t want to repair anything under warranty even what they’re supposed to. So I figured on one hand it’s what they’ve designed the truck to do but they’re also squirmy bastards. Maybe I answered my own question? Lol

Off roading and something breaks ? It’s a catch and miss situation depending on the dealer. Most will not cover it citing abuse more so if you modify suspension with bigger tires.

Well good for you. But in reality, nothings free. It’s usually padded in with the price somewhere

I know off roading is very vague but just trying to get a feel for what other people’s warranty experiences were like. Like you said tho it comes down to the individual dealership...

Yes I understand, I paid over MSRP for the truck so there we go.
