Or better yet, just plain, old, 'AM' - like the '67 AM Rambler American under the cover in our carport (awaiting a fuel-pump rebuild kit and brake work).

A friends son in law 24 years old genuinely did not know how to change a household light bulb... :annoyed:

    Vacuum booster pump probably?
AMC was the last company (probably in the world) to use vacuum wipers standard, all the way until 1971.

Busy day yesterday - saved another Wisconsin from the scrap yard. This one wasn't so easy as it was in Kent, Ohio which I now know is 683 miles round-trip from me. :bananadead:

This one is special (thus the drive) as it has a dry plate clutch and 3 speed transmission.

Yup... having trouble finding a rebuild kit for it. The wipers worked great coming downhill, but climbing the Rockies in the rain was NOT fun (We've driven coast-to-coast, twice).

Good score! We have a couple of those Wisconsin two-bangers at our club, no clutch, trans or final though. Waiting for 'first start' video!

Heh, I had one of those.

Was better than my single cab S10, but was hard as hell to get groceries or the such. I sacrificed a shorter bed, but the 4 doors has come in handy for me on my 3rd gen.

Wisconsin engines with a PTO type clutch (Rockford or Twin Disc) are quite common. This is the first one with a dry clutch and transmission that I have found within a reasonable distance (683 miles  ) after years of not searching too hard. I have found bits and pieces in the past -- this is complete, just missing the shift knob and air filter wing nut.

See that is the difference my sperm Donor was mechanically challenged .About the only tools he had might have been what was with the car.

So I learned from all the farmers I worked for as a kid back in those days not much they could not do in house. I must say I learned far more that way then ever in the class room.

Thank Odin I never had a drinking problem a few times I cute loose but I really hate being Hung over I know I have not touched a drop in 15 years for sure might be a easy 30

It is cozy, you don't sit in the access cab, you wear it like a favorite denim jacket. I have my old van for practical daily stuff, the truck is more for entertainment -- and road trips.
