I'm the opposite right now. Spare upper with no lower.

well i'm at the point where I have enough ar's that I can be picky about the lowers I want. The problem with that right now is everyone's price is still super inflated. I'll just have to wait it out. Not paying $250 for a stripped blem geissele lower haha.

Why not try out a CMMG .22LR conversion Bravo kit? Much cheaper and your friends can use it in their ARs when they run low on ammo.

I tried one, shot like garbage because the AR barrel twist is too fast. Bought an actual 22 barrel, all better.

I actually had one of these also before I got my 15-22. Figured it was a good trade off but then I just figured to pay a little extra for a whole complete gun that has the proper twist rate barrel. those kits around liek $180 is. For $150 more i was able to get a whole 15-22.

I guess for my COF practice I don't mind it's accuracy within 40 yards

    Yeah.
I did look at those and did a bit of research and came to a similar conclusion as golfindia. I would prefer a dedicated .22 barrel. That said, who knows what I will end up doing, but open to hear about any options anyone has tried.

I've heard it called a Big Fucking Deal, which I agree with. They're almost as good as a suppressor for being able to run a brake when you're alone but not have it concuss bystanders when there's company.

The wardens have been discontinued which caused price on the muzzle devices that work with them and also the wardens to jump in price. Avg price is now $190 if in stock anywhere or $200 in the gun community market.
That being said, I've used a warden, kvp linear comp and a slr linear comp all on my 11.5 in and it does help a little with concussion to you and those around you.

I’m really trying to decide between building a pistol or a DMR. I had thought I may also build an AR10 as a DMR but haven’t thought much about it in a while. I typically try to maintain common ammo for simplicity. I also have a 270& 308 bolt actions that can fill that roll

A pic to keep the thread fed. And plug: just moved some optics around so now I have a spare PA micro red dot on an LRP mount if anyone is interested. I have a Vortex Ranger 1-4 and Midwest mount on the way.

I'm a fan of streamlight based on performance and price ratio. All of mine have never missed a beat and have plenty of rounds on them. As lights go, I really believe you pay for the surefire name if you go that route. Just my .02
