First world problems for sure but this was the same situation I had with my extra cab Mazda B3000 for years, and it didn't even have the short rear doors. Try putting anything larger than a bread box in the back seat of a 2 door extra cab truck lol. You could somehow get a person into the "back seat" easier than a small cooler, it was frustrating and settled me on a double cab for the next truck.

 

I vote for more polls.

 

I had a regular cab Duramax when I got married, after our son was born it was tight with a carseat, us, and a diaper bag. I fought buying a 4 door for the longest time. Now I have two of them and told my wife when our kids are grown and moved out I will still have a 4 door, I love the room.

 

It's hard to think about going back to less cab space, and you have the best of both worlds when it comes to Tacomas with the DCLB. If I could have another one for fun I'd have a 4x4 ACLB with a camper top (red of course, no matter the truck color).

 

Ask me how I know this.

Nice one! Aside from that I loved the truck and kind of wish I'd just kept it. I'd really be kicking myself if it had been 4x4.

I've always liked that era of rangers too.

 

My first truck was a 93 2wd regular cab Isuzu pup. This regular cab Tacoma feels huge compared to that. I managed to get myself and two friends in that Isuzu once. After that I took the middle belt out.

 

It was an OK unit. Nothin’ special. Only thing I kinda miss is grabbin’ gears but the Taco if definitely better on gas.
