New Lights 2013 TRD Sport

Can someone explain what this means and if it applies to my stock 2013 TRD Sport.

Since I cannot think of a 2013 Tacoma that came with "Factory HID/Xenon Headlights," I think you should be fine.

On a related note, since you're looking for new headlights. are you aware that these are going to be a quality and performance downgrade from what came with your truck?

 

I wasn't aware of the quality and performance downgrade, thank you for your input. I really was looking at it from more of an aesthetic appearance. Do you have any suggestions for a better option other than stock lighting?

 

Unfortunately, as of right now, I don't know of anything that's better looking, but even close to the same performance as OEM. The new Morimoto replacement headlights initially looked promising, but a little bird told me they didn't come close in instrumented testing that will be published here soon.

Basically, you have to decide if your headlights are an appearance item or a safety item.
