Bike mount in bed under tonneau cover using cargo divider

    Thought I'd share a way to transport bikes in the bed that I haven't seen posted yet.

    I wanted to use a fork mount in the bed of my truck while still being able to keep the trifold tonneau cover installed. I had the Toyota cargo bed divider laying around so I used it as a bed rail for the fork mount:

    Carriage bolts slide nicely in the rails on the cargo divider and the tonneau can be folded back in place when a bike isn't being transported. Pictured is the RockyMounts Hot Rod and I'm sure most other fork mounts would work well.

    Yes it is, I finally found a use for it.

    They are stainless bolts and I'll be keeping an eye on them to see if I need to switch to galvanized instead.

    Nice. Couldn’t tell from the pic difference between bright or stainless. That’s the way to go.
