Nice Truck! Like it but wonder if only comes in a short bed?

I can see it selling well.

I see them every day out here...not just Tacomas. Lot of people spending money on things they don’t use.

We were passing a motel in town and noticed a few vehicles with RTTs in the parking lot. Thought “well, stay a night in town, gear up and hit the trail.”

They were there for four days.

The first 13 or so miles of our road is a main artery (dirt road) into the Grand Staircase. Lots of people come out here in seriously duded out rigs of all types to hit trails and camping areas in our neck of the woods.

In the meantime my parents visited over mother day and made it out here in their 2017 RAV4.

I do admit, a seriously geared out taco looks pretty badass!

Mine hunts like a drunk sailor in a foreign port looking for a bar... But I've learned the behavior and compensate with right foot pressure. I f-in hate it, but what else will last like a Taco and hold its value like a Taco.

I don't think so as the only models with manual are the TRDs

So basically, the Trail is the TRD Offroad now - or even better considering the wheels. Feels like they are taking away from much of what made the TRD Offroad so great.

Yeah but this comes with a rear locker now where the standard sr5 does not.

6ft bed tacoma is not enough. That's why in addition to my short bed tacoma I have a full size truck.

I'd have to see the difference between models, as I like some of the convenience stuff found on the OR, hence why I bought one, but if I was in the market now, the OR might be a much harder sale.

    Also the lift...

Yup - Lift, skid plate, rear diff locker, and wheels are all huge for the Trail edition. If they make a DCLB configuration (I highly doubt they will), I'd consider selling my 2020 and holding out for one.

Does seem that way... until I remember I have a manual lol. In all seriousness this will appeal to many. The wheels are beautiful the grill with bronze letters are sick, locking differential. Oh and it has a lift on it as well.

I know people will be waiting for take offs but if I had those wheels they stay on the truck. Tires are finally more aggressive too.

Yes thanks, I realized it after. The previous trail edition had no locker.

But i think it still will be cheaper to mod the SR5 yourself, including the locker.
