For the crazy carbon fiber bookends is hard as hell that would be like book ending a piece of burl wood. It's hard enough when the pieces are for a table but opposite sides of a knife and more contoured. Sheesh you got some gumption for trying to do that. I applaud it. Personally I like the differences of the 2 sides makes for something more interesting to look at.

    What haven’t I changed?
Picked up a Benchmade 535-3 Bugout from the recent BHQ sale. Hope I don’t get my info hacked.

Had a bid in on E..y on a pre owned ZT 0393 Hinder Flipper in Blue Titanium. Been the top bidder for 3 days now. When with 3 seconds left to go someone topped my bid. :goingcrazy:
Damn shame. Cause it's a discontinued knife.
Maybe someone here will sell me there's.

Initial impressions. The grind lines make the blade shape deceivingly swept up when it's more of a drop point.

It does. Loving the ZT knives. But honestly, neither work as easily as my Spyderco Sage 1.
Still, ZT I think will be my go to brand because of their quality and design philosophy.

Personally nothing beats a spydie in EDC tasks period. They have that shit down blade shape, dge geometry, ergos, etc. But if you're looking for other factors lots and lots of good brands out there that'll really make a run for the money with ZT. I'm a hinderer fan which is why I'd want one

I got a few lines to adjust, but I think the crooked river scales are looking good. I decided to mill out a set using some Purple Heart wood I stabilized.

Hit it with some 600 grit and then the micro mesh sanding pads to make the grain really pop.
