The GF is at work right now so I don't have a way to be under it as its moving so maybe tomorrow I can get a hand with checking to make sure it is.

11213-AD010 is the part number for the valve cover gasket, it's really easy and cheap to replace. I think it was $8 when I bought it to replace my cam gears. Just have to remove the intake clutter, and there's a spot that needs some liquid gasket on it up front, reassemble/torque everything and you're done.

I'm new to the Tacoma world. Always wanted one and finally got it. 2015 TRD offroad double cab. Added a tonneau cover, hardwired Uniden R7 radar detector, hardwired dashcam, and upgraded all the speakers. Also replaced the front driver's side power door lock motor that was not functioning.

Developed a 35 -45 mph shimmy within the last two weeks and it was getting worse, goes away at freeway speed. One of those problems where all kinds of possible issues - expensive ones, go thru your head. Just had a tire rotation in March. Called Discount Tire to schedule a appointment for a tire rotation. They asked me to bring it in right away, a big surprise. They found 3 of 4 tires out of balance. Lesson: Try the cheapest fix first, and a big thanks and shout out to Discount Tire.

Buy the Spicer one, it's the OEM part but for $70 instead of $200 from Toyota. I bought from Drivetrain America and it literally has the Toyota part number stamped on the rubber.

Spicer part number is 5002007 for my 2013 4x4.

You won’t stop a leak at the valve cover. The only way to stop it is to reseal it or check the torque on the bolts.

Widened a bed extender made for a frontier to fit my 2013. Went in like a glove. Was lucky to find a manual online to print out the bracket template, making install a breeze.

Awesome thank you! My local dealer is a joke I called, they had to order and wanted 275.
I assume its the same for my 09 I don't think anything was changed on the drivetrain between years.

Edit: I'm going to do my U joints at the same time because why not. They feel fine but if I'm pulling the drive shaft anyways. What is the best for those bad boys? I think I have heard Spicer as well?

Post some pics when you get it mounted!!! Does the backside of the amp rack clear floor mats and keep them from being kicked by feet

What a great video dude, have fun out there! What is your source for the background music if you don't mind me asking, it's great.

Just any RCA will work. I did this for my 2010 to connect to my kenwood. I choice a higher quality RCA cable that came with my amp kit just to help with signal and shielding.

How big of a pain was wrapping it?
I have the early 2nd gen but thinking about wrapping mine. I heard it was a little difficult as you need to put an inlay in a couple corners.

Definitely Spicer but I think they have a few different options/grades. I know I found a thread on it here somewhere when I was looking into the carrier bearing

Where I keep my seat, it’s almost dead even with the seat bolts. This should be good, and if it looks suspect I can always fab a little guard out of ABS and CA glue it on to keep toes off the wiring.
