Yo sorry just seeing this.

I got the uptop awning rack and had to get some special tnuts to fit the awning.

 

Ah, how nice it must be to have all the accessories fit perfectly, lol. That's the only issue with the Rev. 0 of the racks.

 

It's nice seeing it mounted up like that. I'm curious if it would interfere with the light output of the Scenepods.

 

It does block 2 of the 3 scene pods on that side since the batwing back frame is pretty tall.

Thought I smelled the electric burn but not since covid is still messing my sense of smell up.

We got to camp and noticed the light was out. And when I climb up to see if it was a loose connection . That was when I noticed the burnt wires.

Not sure why it shorted out. But it was the first real use of the lights other than quick test in the driveway.

Murphy invited himself on this trip for sure.. the light was was only the start of the damaged equipment and gear

 

Yeah, I'm surprised the fuse didn't pop first. Maybe the fuse is bigger than what the wire can handle. Nevertheless, I'd like to know what happened after you had some time to troubleshoot.

I placed an order the day before they sent out the coupon. I PM'd to see if they would honor it but havent heard anything back.

 

Sad day . I had my shopping cart all set up I just couldn't find the valid dates anywhere. Guess I should have just pulled the trigger.

 

I cannot believe this! My order has arrived today and it is only 5 weeks since I placed this order (end of April). I am so stoked about this. I will post pictures after installed on my truck. Thanks @upTOPoverland for quick delivery.

 

I just saw on Fb that their lead times for new orders is 12 weeks now. I’m hoping mine comes in as quickly as yours!

 

Ordered mine on 27 March. They just let me know it be another 3 weeks for delivery. No worries. Looking forward to a quality product.

 

What did you guys order? I placed my order on April 12th for an Alpha rack and TRUSS bed rack.

 

I ordered a Bravo on 11 April - not a peep from Uptop. Hoping to see something by the end of June.

 

Same here, I have a tripped planned for a few weeks in July.

 

Already past the 8 on the “8-10 week” wait. We’ll see what happens in the next two weeks…I was hoping they were overstating their wait time when I ordered, but I guess not.

 

I waited 14 weeks for both my cap and cab bravo racks that I ordered at the beginning of February, love to see folks getting theirs way before that. I will say that I have been extremely happy with the quality and the support, their people are top notch.

I also have several of the rack mounts and also happy with those even though the Maxtrax mount took some time to get the spacing right and the awning brackets didn't fit my awning (my fault I ordered the brackets before I found an awning in stock).

Overall I think for the price and the quality, worth the wait.

I ordered Bravo cab rack and xL Bravo cap rack. I installed the cab rack this afternoon by myself and took me 6 hours. I did it carefully though and made some mistakes along the way. Happy with the result so far but I am not quite done yet. Need to install the cab rack this weekend and fine tune/align the front and back rack.

 

Do you have thule rails or did you just mount it to the fiberglass? I am getting ready to do mine.
