    S369SXE, she's a big girl. A little too big for the 5VZ haha. It's actually on another vehicle I work on with a buddy. A 3.3L SOHC Nissan V6, which spools it, but it takes some time. It's a drag car though, I don't think it would be very usable in the range my truck operates in.

    Also randomly thrown into the tote of stuff is a Walbro 255 LPH pump, wilwood brake proportioning valve, part of an oil filter remote mount kit I think? Some fuel injectors, a mikuni fuel rail, and a new 70's or earlier Ford 300 single barrel industrial carb. Just an all around weird mishmash of stuff.

    I’m not sure. As mentioned I never got involved with the bs. I Already deal with enough of that at work. But Apparently ov said on vf forum he was banned without warning. But who knows what was happening on the mods end.

    Still makes me curious why the Mod was "banned"(?) or whatever a line through the name means.

    OV was pretty transparent about the progress and delays. I think his decision to improve certain aspects of the kit, rather than pushing out what was had, hurt that buyers' feelings more. Since it meant more a delay. I completely understand him wanting it to be a perfect kit, or at least more refined though. Is just slowed that progress, and those updated parts could have then been put up for sale down the road to customers who may have wanted the nicer cast pieces. That is my naive optics of the overall delays and sense of angst which I then assume was what was making people complain to mods.

    Giving you guys an olive branch for a turbo everything thread to come to and ask the whatevers. We won't be able to help with everything(tuning mainly, until it is unlocked), but will be happy to share our knowledge with you all and help you bounce ideas around.

    If you have any other turbo guys, y'all can invite them as well. :thumbsup:

    My kit/truck is running great on the TT's, and I've been all over the kit fixing various stuff that generally appears to be traceable back to the shop that did the initial install rather than anything that was Mat's fault, so if anyone has questions that I'm able to answer/help out with, I'm happy to help and share.

    Looking forward to the updated tune from Mat since it's got improved tweaks and code changes and whatnot, but can afford to be patient since everything else with the truck is going well. Also looking forward to it because I suspect the tune should include at least some of the stuff he's been working on for MT trucks for the upcoming "ultimate 2.0" tunes. For the time being though, happily boosting around in my TRD Ecoboost.

    You definitely have all of the necessary hands-on curriculum to teach others. Glad you've gotten all of your leaks fixed, or pretty sure all but one, minus what those Remflex gaskets are on-the-way for.

    I encountered a self problem. Couldn't hold wastegate pressure. It would hit the intended pressure, then fall down to half. Ended up fabricating an external w/g exhaust routing because it had to be something with the internal wastegate actuator. Come to find out, I had an intake coupling clamp loose. :annoyed::facepalm: :rofl:

    Yeah the remflex's are for the driver side downpipe to y-pipe.

    At some point I'll probably swap out my turbo inlet couplers, the provided silicone couplers were slightly too large for the inlets. Currently have the clamps super tight on them. Luckily siliconecouplers.com or whatever it's called has every size/tapered combination and shape you could possibly need lol

    I have gotten some from them and www.extremepsi.com. More from the latter. I like their 6 ply construction, and added lengths. Good for trimming to an exact fit.

    Don't have many opinions other than what you stated, since it has been soo long since I purchased anything from www.siliconecouplers.com

    Dang, just saw the banned thread. Guess I'm glad I decided to go with a haltech in the end. Would've been neat to push the factory Ecu as far as possible.
