I bought it because it has a short bed. If I wanted a longer bed would have kept my full-size. Everyone wants diff things and apparently more people don't care about a long bed given their sales numbers would not climb higher if they had a 6ft bed PRO

Agreed, I have the OR DCLB. I use it on the beach and in my yard. That’s the extent of my off-roading.

Haha ditto. Only reason I went TRD route over SR5 is because I wanted heated seats & sunroof.

Hear ya there. That said, I admit that I enjoy them in my better half's Rav, not to mention the wheel heater. She gets the garage and my seat is cold on those new england winter mornings. Do I actually need them, naw. But the lower back sure likes them.

Personally I think it looks great. The added lift gives it the prefect factory stance. I actually love the color the more I see it. For me a six speed manual, add some super bumps and maybe hammer hangers and its the perfect Tacoma. For me anyways, to each their own.
It will be interesting to see the actual specs of the new control arms, they are very pretty. Hopefully they are following the aftermarket and adding in additional caster.
Almost makes me curious what I would get for a trade in for my 2015.

Looking forward to it as well but I doubt they carry over the manual unless there is a strong desire to keep it since jeep and ford offer it.

If you download Toyota's press release photos at full res., the tire size can be read. It's still 265/70-16.
Toyota's press release says the UCA was to accommodate increased rebound travel. Pretty unusual to see a new forged aluminum suspension part with just ~2 years of production left on a low-volume trim level, but I'll leave that to Toyota's bean counters.

Not every truck owner needs rear seats, there's plenty of empty nesters driving Tacomas.

Considering the Pro is really just a trim level with bolt ons, why not make it available across all three cab configurations?

I think Toyota stopped the single cab as an option for the Tacoma.

Correct, the regular cab was discontinued with the conclusion of the 2nd gen.

Pretty interesting YouTube channel that I subscribe to.

(@ 5:00) Says Electric lime color will not be the only exclusive TRD pro color. There will be more exclusive TRD Pro color. He thinks it maybe gold type color.
