It's so hard not to. I'll watch it gain $15-20 and shrug it off, then i'll think ok buy, no don't, then it'll keep going up, and i'm like dangit should've bought when i first thought of it. Then it skyrockets up $25 more and i freak and put an order in.

In lighter news -- Got a text from my boss early this morning. He caught all the meme stonk action yesterday and said, "I'm starting to think you might be correct"

He's having a baby shower this weekend and trying to decide what to get for his market crash scotch.

 

I thought I was crazy when I spent a grand at $32. Still thought I was crazy at $200 lol Not so much anymore

 

That's the crazy thing about the options...once they are in the money on a WHALE stock like $NVDA and the stock moves 2% @680+ a share that's $14 and that means a contract goes UP $14x100 shares or $1400 on a 2% move....Now imagine it has a big boy day and goes up 10%...you're talking $6,000+

You should try buying AND selling. Really messes you up. Especially early on. Selling when it dipped. Buying when it dipped more, then buying when it started running. Did I mention I didn’t sell any yesterday? Big accomplishment for me. 300 might have gotten some shares from me though.

 

Limit orders my dude! I got too busy and didn't set my higher limits until it was too late today.

I learned how terrible and annoying fomo is back in January when I started this meme stonk journey lol

My boss is super happy, because he bought shares a few days after I told him to, but I'd estimate his average to be around $175 based on when he told me he bought.
