I freaking LOVE Lake Murray!

 

We always have a great time there. I know of a sweet waterfall/ cliff jump right next to the park too!!! We will be packing the yaks and I will probably bring my mountain bike and get a ride in!!!!!

I've ridden my XR and taken the boat there, but I REALLY want to snorkel and/or scuba dive there.

 

I wish I could take my klr out there! I would like to learn how to scuba. I think by the tucker tower would be awesome

 

The trails are a blast in spring and late fall. Once December hits, the mud turns to this icy clay crap and it's a miserable ride. I don't know if it's true, but I heard that the lake used to be a rock quarry and thats why it's so clear.

did a hour long gravel route between blum and whitney and found a killer swimming/ fishing hole. Going back tomorrow so the wife a drive the route and then swim!!!

I’ve got a three hour trip to DFW this week to pick up a part for an off topic car. While I am there I’d like to find a place that has front body panels, lights, bumpers for my 98 five lug wreck. Are there any pull a part yards that actually might have what I need in stock or any places that sell the aftermarket replacement stuff to the general public? Used to be I could look up a Keystone distributor but their supply for something from 98 is zilch and their prices look pretty stupid high anyway. Any help appreciated.

 

I know there are some yards off of 199 between Lake Worth and Springtown, but I can’t remember the names nor do I know what they have. That’s all the help I am.

 

Can’t comment on availability but there is a good yard out in Nevada, TX (about 30 minutes East of DFW).
