I’m excited to get these in, and run them in conjunction with the supercharger and magnaflow exhaust.

Dirty ol’ trans is out. The fluid was chocolate brown. I’m amazed it kept on keeping on!! Now to get the stock exhaust outta there, and get my headers in.

So, I cut some gaskets, then went and played with this last night for a bit!! The 82 pickup. So fun to boot around in.

You know, we stuffed the 36”, and the 37”, and cut what I needed to to clear everything. There’s some rub, mainly frame tho. I had it crossed up good in a washout, and only had the frame rubbing

Yeah, I cut up my truck last weekend and at full bump I cut basically all the way back to the bottom door bracket. I can't imagine 37s fitting on my truck without long travel.

Had her twisted up good in here, and minimal nasty sounds. I’m pretty stoked. I’m hoping that when I throw the 36x15.5 on next winter, I have no issues. But we did jack and move them threw full range

This is fully cycled for me. Very impressive that you basically made it only rub on the frame.

@cbechtold looks like we cut pretty close to the same. I didn’t take the same out in the footwell, we made some slices, and hammer fit it, then when it was welded, I hammered at it again, until the tire didn’t hit.

Yeah, I've seen people do that before. Seem like a much simpler/easier method to tubbing. Still very impressive nonetheless on how you made 37s fit easily.

And just so you know, you are to blame for this rabbit hole of 35" on this tacoma of mine, then Pat and Justin were the terrible influence to go up. Now Jamie wants to try his 38x15.5 grapplers on next snow season. This will never end :rofl:Yours was one of the first I saw on 35" on IG. On the rubicon, if I remeber correctly. Man, do I want to run that trail!!

Well, drive it actually. Too fat to run:D

I'm to blame? I posted a pic of my truck with the 35s I stole off my dad's old FJ40 years ago. I've been rocking 33s on the trails for 6 years though.

Both Pat and Justin are trying to make me tub more for 37s and I just won't have it. I'd need LT before then and I'm pretty set on 40s for my next set.

Rubicon is a blast! It's gotten significantly easier than it was 10/15 years ago, but it's definitely a trail I recommend to people who like to wheel hard. I've actually only ever ran the trail from Loon to Walker Hill and Tahoma to Cadillac Hill. I'm going to be going through the whole thing this year with a bunch of buddies. Can't wait!

I got back into the wheeling only a few years ago, first into a jku, which burnt to the ground while I was driving it. Then I lucked into the Tacoma, which was a rollover, and built it on 35”. I remember seeing yours here and there, and thinking how damn good that looked!! Looking forward to seeing it on the 35, and 40”? :D If marlin ever does release RCLT for our trucks, I’m really interested.
