I’ve heard and read it’s one of the most stressful school programs. We shall see. I’m very laid back and don’t stress, but that can be both good and bad when seemingly serious situations I tend to brush off easier than she likes lol

I have a few friends that went to the St. George program (pretty sure, not aware how many vet schools are in the Caribbean).

MTB is pretty terrible in most of the islands though.

CSU has one of the best vet schools in the country. It’s where I take my dog for vet related stuff. Great school, great program. However, Ft. Collins sucks you really shouldn’t come here...:)

Also, figured I’d post this here too in case anyone was interested. Garmin Instinct GPS smartwatch (not solar). Does a lot of stuff, half I never used so I upgraded to a Fenix 6x Pro that does even more shit I probably won’t use. 3 months old, in great shape. $200.

I’m sure the enduro Firebird would be gone and probably on a 130mm travel bike or something.

As of now the schools she’s mentioned I’m most interested in Lincoln Memorial and Glendale AZ

oh I know I looked up the different schools. However going back to take stats2 would only prolong this long process anyways. I mean maybe if she doesn’t get in first application time I can talk her into it.

Lol, we also had two Foresters. Just got rid of em.
This is actually the first time in many years that we don’t have a Subie. I just feel like they’ve lost the fun factor they used to have. And I got sick of fixing the damn head gaskets.

62.5, DH Single Crown bikes are the new trend. Did you guys see Pinkbike’s recent article on bike changes over last 10 years. Geometry on DH rigs changed the least as far as seat tube and head tube while mostly just extending wheelbase.

I don't remember seeing that article but it makes sense. DH bikes don't change but all the enduro bikes are becoming DH bikes. I mean, how often have you heard, "mini-dh" bike to describe an enduro bike? pftsh.

Cross posting this from the Prinsu How To Thread. Hoping one of the bike people with a Prinsu might be able to help here.

I am getting a Prinsu in a few weeks and was looking at this to mount my Mountain Bike with thru axel. I emailed etrailer.com since they sell it and asked if it was compatible with the Prinsu racks, plus asked if there are any limitations on what orientation to use when mounted (flat/horizontal with the clamp facing forwards or backwards, straight up/vertical with the clamp facing up). I am not sure their reply is correct but what ddo I know.

They said it was not compatible and is only for use with truck bed rails.

Below are pictures of the parts and instructions. Is there any reason this will not work out of the box? Do I need different mounting hardware for the Prinsu tracks? Seems totally reasonable but new to the Prinsu thing.

I don't own a Prinsu, but they're just extrusion bars attached to a flat piece of aluminum. Based on what I see in the picture I would think that mount would bolt up just fine.

Side personal note. Your sig says San Diego. Do you by chance frequent Mission Viejo?? Asking for a friend......I'm asking for me.

Frequenting Mission Viejo as in just like visiting, or frequenting as in mountian biking. The answer to both is neither but I have wanted to get up to OC and do some trails. I have read some of the ones along the toll road are good as well as inland a little bit on Ortega highway. I recall reading about a trail with a ton of switchbacks - which at my age and weight I would probably hate!

There’s a bike shop there that has a bike I’m interested in buying. But they won’t ship, local only. I’m on the other side of the country.
