Who the F is raising Mountain Lions for their pee? And they must not be very healthy, that stuff is DARK. I'd be worried if that came outta me.

I've camped with a cougar once or twice. Two different kinds of cougars. The one, you'll never hear coming. The other....

I'd want a lot more than $110 bux for half a gallon.

Do you chase with dogs? I know the cats can still lose the dogs sometimes, no blame on you.

Same reason you don't need a larger caliber than .22

A .22 takes out the knee cap of the one you're with just fine!

Yeah I when I was younger I was home on leave and went hunting with my now wife. We heard that screaming coming from the mountain we were camped out on the base of. I legit thought some girl was being murdered. Lol

Absolutely true. But while the odds of being attacked by an animal are slim, they are never zero. It does happen. When I'm outdoors I carry a handgun that is capable of stopping both 2 and 4 legged predators. The good news is that mountain lions aren't particularly big and any handgun suitable for 2 legged defense will work. The ammo I choose may change compared to when I carry the same gun in a city.

And since the odds are pretty good of an incident at night I like a gun capable of having a weapons mounted light. For me this usually means a Glock, Sig365, or Smith M&P. Caliber could be 9mm, 45 or 10mm depending on my mood. The greater the odds of a bear, the more likely the 10mm gets carried.

You son of a.... I swear that this place where we hunt. Middle of shit nowhere. Has an old horse corral and what I would call a trappers cabin.... has ghosts.

    I hear horses and voices.

    Old gold miner ghosts.
