I say this as a the owner of a 5 day old 2021 DCSB 4x4 manual, the AC is more aesthetically pleasing to me, no doubt. My fiancé and I are the only humans who will be ever be in my truck, but I felt our two dog children - a 3 year old 45lb goldendoodle girl and 5 month old 30lb lab mix boy who may reach 65-70lbs - would be cramped in the AC. Having seen how some of you AC guys are building dog platforms for the back, I might have been wrong. If I had the buying decision to make all over again it would be a 50-50 coin toss as far as which one I went with. Well, another big factor when I ordered mine almost 3 months ago was what was available to order out of a dealer's inventory. A red, loaded 4x4, V6 manual was a requirement for me, still is.

DCLB here... I fuckin love it... But I am a homeowner and have a small family...

Now if I was DINK or bachelor I 100% would be team ACLB... The proportions are sexy and I don't wanna use the back "seats" for anything but tools and gear

Yeah, looking at DCLB I think to myself all the time, why not a full size/tundra...

    I'm also a recovering LS2 addict

You are worried that your DOGS will be cramped? Heck, they are DOGS, they LOVE small spaces! Caves, burrows. digs, and ditches.

People are so confused... Trying to put people preferences on dogs. Get a grip!

Lol. I can assure you, my grip is perfectly fine.

Yes, I know how dogs like to sleep and relax - the whole idea behind a crate that they have just enough space to turn around in - but my concern was two of them in a small space not being able to get past one another if they want to adjust. As I mentioned, seeing how some AC guys are building platforms and all that, I certainly could have been mistaken. Also, like I mentioned, if I had it to do all over again, it might be a coin toss. Thanks for your input though.

Haha I know but my shepherd loves to bounce from window to window, and he doesn't get enough exercise, therefore, he's a thicc boi

Plus you know... Planning for future miniature people to sit back there too, idk if you've ever handled a car seat (gonna guess no?), they're unyielding mother fuckers LOL

    I'm gonna guess YES!

Three kids (grown and out, we did the family van thing with couple of MAZDA MPV's) , and Dog's? Let me count... The Brittney, the Lab, the Shepard, the "Can-ardly", 7 or more.. They all knew where they were going when the order to "Load up" was called out. And they all went in eagerly.

Been there, done that, Where is the tee shirt?

Dogs are not people, they don't actually care how you think about them. Just feed them and give them pets from time to time. Scratch the places hard for them to get to themselves.

Don't remind me.... My shepherd only cuddles with whomever fed him last... Unfortunate for me she gets home sooner than I do... But I can't complain because it usually also means I have food waiting too... :hungry:

Love the aesthetics of access cabs but the TRD OR access cab isn't available in a manual transmission in the US. 6' bed would have been great for camping, but 5' works for 90% of my needs.

truck looks good. What tires/size are you running? The stock wheels look much better with those tires. Do you have a lift?
