Ken, you’re gonna like the Extang cover. I bought one for my 2015 before the truck was even manufactured. The early covers were more basic, much easier to install, and if installed properly, don’t leak. The drain hose on yours may be capable of going behind the bed panel, check it out. I like the lock on yours, and the closure at the rear, mine only has a manual clip on either side, accessible when the tailgate is open. The only downside I have found is the storage of the cover while fully open. I’ve had to put the cover on the roof rack a few times to accommodate refrigerators or large furniture.
Good looking truck, by the way, I like the color!

Kurt: I think you missed a weed or two. LOL J/K Your home looks fantastic. All that is left is normal maintenance and June is just starting so I would say you are way ahead of the curve.

Looks great Ken. I really like the low profile of the top. The Tacoma looks nice too. I like the color.

Got to get an early start today. My sister and my cousin and her husband are coming over for dinner tonight. Going to cook up some Dino Ribs, first time for me, for dinner. Cook takes close to 6 hours, I need to hit the Harris Teeter early then be at the Vehicle Emissions Testing Facility when it opens at 08:30. The Avalon needs to be tested. I finished detailing the car yesterday and today it is raining, happens every time. I took some pics and will post a few later on today.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gal! I guess all I got is some greenhouse work today, maybe the store or some garage. Woke up to find FIVE dead goldfish in the pond (actually, one OUT). I mean they are just feeder fish I get to grow, but sheesh, they weren't all little this time. Have to get that figured out - probably related to lack of success with the aquaponics....

    Mornin' all...

Getting a windshield replaced in the newest Taco this morning. Thanks God it's not a 3rd gen. I've been lurking some of the windshield discussions and can't believe what the cost and hassle of a 3rd gen replacement is. Who ever thought having to program a windshield was a good idea? Mine will be replaced for $195 plus tax.

Supposed to be hot today. We just got back from rainy country in SD, and here we haven't seen measurable precipitation for months. It's rumored that we will lose all irrigation by the middle of July. Smart ranchers are already selling off their excess cattle.

    Have a good day folks.

    Good Morning Susan.

I'm not used to this hot/humid weather. It's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut.

My walking partner isn't too happy. Over 80F or 80% Humidity we don't go for our walks. Made it out yesterday but she was dragging after a mile, so we took our time getting back to the house.

Looking mighty nice Tom! Just takes us longer - but that only means you can brag on hours it took (without saying because we're older!).

Good Morning Folks. Thanks folks for all the  on the tonneau cover. So far I like it. Haven't decided on what to do with the drain hoses yet. If it doesn't leak in a heavy rain while driving, I might not connect them.

Wow Tom the wife's car looks great. Just be glad that you still have the energy and ambition to do such a good job. Oh, is all the material in the background for your next project? You always have one in the works :D.

Just got back from my Pre Op appointment for my knee surgery. Well, they told me one thing I already knew...That I was old, but in good physical condition and gave me a  for the surgery. 2 weeks until surgery. I hope the rehab goes good.

Hi Susan, you have had quite an issue with moles. I hope you can find a way to rid your yard of them other than digging up the yard:angrygirl:. How are you doing? read about your issue. Still doing okay? How are the girls doing? Annie still getting around?

Have yourselves a great day folks and be safe.

Thought the backdrop would make an interesting photo op. Our city is replacing the water mains in our sub division this spring/summer.

Gal at Weavers Hardware (the BEST hardware store on earth) years ago told me to put down GrubEx for moles. Kill the grubs and the moles go elsewhere. Worked for me! But we’re a lot further north.

Annie never cared about the heat, Zoie (like her predecessor) hates the heat. But now I have to play Sheriff and bring her in to keep her comfortable and out of trouble. When I'm off, we stick to the areas with shade, when we walk in the mornings. In the evening, we wait until the sun goes down.

What meds they going to put you on after your knee replacement to prevent clots?

I just need to get another hunter to take care of the moles (or get some grubex like Dave recommended). I'm hanging in there.... got put on a new med :-( Going to start a log of all food I eat, exercise, sleep, etc to see if I can find a common cause :notsure: Annie still hanging in there, but getting slower weekly - going to be buckets of tears shed here soon :anonymous: Zoie still doing well - still her lazy ol' self. How's your grandpup doing?

I'd read about that a few years ago and then promptly forgot about it... details please.

Going to try that - just hate that most of those things kill the good bugs too..... But if I can figure out if caster oil works, I'll keep a wide band around the yard, to keep them out.... Someone posted a pic of one their cat brought in.... lady wanted to take it to a rescue.... OMG it's just a rodent :anonymous: Just don't let it go in my yard!!! Or give it to Annie and she'll make quick work of it - she'd whip her head back and forth 3 or 4 times and he'd be gone  did I just say that??

Seconds on Castor oil. You can dilute spray the whole yard as well.

Good Morning Folks. Rain.jpg last night and today, but a great looking weekend ahead.

Glad your taking care of yourself and keeping a log of your daily activities and meals. Sometimes it's best to be your own advocate.
The doc hasn't told me what if any clotting meds they will give me. Had a blood test and hopefully that will him any clue as to what will be best for me.

Susan, there will definitely be tears here when I hear that Annie has gone. She is a member of your family, more than some two legged family members are (in our family). I know she will be missed very much, and by Zoie as well. You have given here a good home for many years.

Thanks for asking. The Grand pup is back to his normal self,,,running and wanting to play ball all the time. The vet said if he has a problem with the plate in his ankle it will have to come out, but it doesn't seem to be giving him any issues at all. Hopefully he'll be around for a long time.

Have a great day and be safe folks.
