I wonder how difficult it is to replace 5’with a 6’ bed if possible .

Need a longer bed? Get a longer frame...attached to a new truck.

 

Wouldn't work. The position of the wheels and gas tank are all different, completely different frame. While anything is possible with enough fabrication you'd save a lot of time and money just buying a different truck.

Go 8’ and add an axle.

 

If you just need a longer bed for hauling stuff get a bed extender, with the tailgate down that will give you another 1 1/2 - 2ft additional length.

 

But will it fit a RTT?

 

It's not hard at all. I recently replaced my 5' with a 6'. It was expensive but not hard.
