I don't think people like using the automated kiosk at McDonald's. I think it slows down the entire process. People usually go inside to order because the drive thru, is too slow. Unless people are going inside to dine.

GME has like no volume but is stupid volatile. That line is jittering around like something I've seen before...

As a Robotics engineer, I can tell you that automation has more than exploded since covid. It's extremely hard to find people to do a lot of these jobs, so automation is a great way to solve that issue. Also to your point, rising wages makes automation more attractive. The ROI on these robots that can run unattended 24/7 and never quit is wild.

Here's what I play with every day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UNktLR5t8Y

Keeps me busy, that's for sure lol

I think the tech is there, but the regulations to allow fully automated vehicle are what's going to delay it.

Also, it sucks to think that my job can displace workers, but from my experience with industrial mobile robots vs warehouse dudes with forklifts, it's not even close. Most of the problems from my one site were because the majority of forklift operators were lazy and didn't care about the product, so product was always damaged or spills would occur. not to mention forks constantly breaking sensors and stuff. Heck, I witnessed a guy go home a 9am because he was hungover on a Wednesday.

I think automation is the future, but the biggest challenge is what jobs will people have left.

    Bringing this back to stocks:

    upload_2021-6-4_12-58-59.jpg

Every single share keeps getting borrowed and it's laughable. and the volume has dried up to where the 1 minute ticker doesn't show changes for a while:
