Added a QC3.0 dual USB port to the front of the truck. Mostly did this for my wife as she likes to use her phone while it’s charging.

I was curious too why it needs calibration. I thought it had to do with the camera possibly moving when the windshield is out. Or maybe due to different refraction on different glass. Who told you that it doesn't need calibration if it doesn't get unplugged? That doesn't make sense to me.

I'd like to have the suspension that the camera vehicle is using!

Sucks, my wife lost the first windshield in her 4Runner with 62 miles on it.... yes 62, not a typo.... insurance replaced it, now she has 8200 and we just called yesterday for a second replacement... she got the 4runner January 25th of this year... Arizona roads are brutal on glass.

side note: If your wife gets a broken windshield on her brand new TRD Pro 4Runner and your immediate response is "Shouldn't have been following so close..." be prepared for a quiet afternoon. :anonymous: Follow me for more marriage pro tips

We had just bought a Yukon several years ago and my wife left the house, less than 200 yards and a dump truck in the opposite lane kicked up a rock and busted the windshield. I did not offer any advice :D

Oh I definitely know better, but sometimes, I just have to take that little dig. Every now and again I have to poke the bear. Her 4Runner is a company vehicle so they cover the insurance and all that good stuff. I would probably have a different attitude if I was paying for it.

    Could be a drone too.

But maybe it's a Toyota with Citroen suspension! (They've had the very best since waaayyy back ('50s?) and now even Rolls-Royce contracts out to them.)

I was told that by the dealership. Her car is a Hyundai, but I can’t imagine the systems being that different. I’ve also read in here many times that the recal is not needed unless unplugged.

    Nothing major
Halfway through my first major mod (at 543 miles), installing an 8 channel JL VXi amp and all new CDT speakers plus a JL 10" sub. Running it all active. Amp is done, new speaker wire run everywhere. Tomorrow I'll get all the speakers in and tune it. Have to do the sub/enclosure later, running out of time to work on it for a while. Ordered a bunch of sound deadening from Resonix, but it's getting delayed over and over. Annoyed to have to circle back around to that as well.

    A few MOD's
Camping at Owyhee reservoir in eastern Oregon last week, very warm but a beautiful place to be. Fishing and rock hounding and found a rattlesnake and it was not a pleasant experience, at least it warned me before I got any closer. I screamed and walked away before I even saw it. My buddy took the picture and I didn't want to get off the boat for a whole day :)

"Yes dear, those shoes do make your ass look huge!" - That'll buy you a month of apologies. Don't ask me how I know.
