Yea, there's a little risk but I've got 8-10 years left to go. I just need to weather the next 3.5 years.
Market is probably a little over priced right now. One just needs to pick and choose one's mutual funds wisely.
I look long term. I doubt Apple, Amazon, Deere & Co, Microsoft, PayPal, Alphabet or Tesla are going anywhere soon.

And you can't fire me, I quit. Lack of payment!

Well I think you’re on the right track at your age, I was there at one time. Tell you what let’s just say you can keep yourself hired for you! :D
By the way I bought 120 shares of Ford in my play around account as soon as they announced the F150 Lightning EV and it zoomed right up, proud of that play lol.
FYI I have a well diversified portfolio including some portions in mutual funds containing the stocks you listed.
Suggestion - don’t go deep in Tesla the big boys (in actual production of vehicles. Ford, GM and the rest) are coming with their EVs and they will be very cost competitive.

I currently do not buy individual stocks. Mutual funds only. And they cannot contain more than 10% of one individual stock.
The one below has served me well. 17.8% return over the past 10 years.

That’s very good. Until a year, year and a half ago I had almost all my 401K in T Rowe Price Blue Chip growth fund which has similar returns over the 10 year period, that’s what made my 401K grow so quickly in only 3-4 years. Moving to a more conservative and diversified portfolio has paid off since that fund hasn’t beat the S&P 500 index the last year.

I got into cardboard stocks during the pandemic. With all the things I had shipped in must have half a ton of boxes out back already broken down. Ready to cash in and retire.
