This thread helped me decide to put my tent budget toward an engagement ring. Thanks, pandemic shipping issues, all I wanted was to go camping.

You make this sound so innocent.

Your wife called. Non stop. Back to back to back to back to back to back etc. Plus the messages and the emails.

They were loading the FedEx truck. Then Eric called her and she was freaking out, and sometimes there’s nothing to do but laugh at a situation and make a change. They said they’re going to refund you.

    No need to respond.
This is the other side of the story from them. Relayed by me.
Enough of this damn drama. It’s freaking tents.

There will always be confusion when your wife is the authority figure in the relationship.

I sincerely hope you get the outcome you want!! No hate, all love

There’s definitely a lot of pissed off people out there.

Here’s 1 thing I do like, having a strong enough (albeit heavy) shell with rails on the roof. Perfect for latching onto with a winch for lifting. Waiting for the hanging scale, get it tomorrow, I’ll update that weight question Saturday.

The tent isn’t balanced by the way, so when you pack it, I’ve noticed the non-latch side is lighter, and the ass is heavy, you can pack some heavier objects on those sides to counterbalance your truck.82B1F6BB-3E31-4A86-B3F6-FBEC9C99C550.jpg 58BD68AF-BF4D-48CE-9C9C-6D0976857F66.jpg

They better start offering schwag bags or something. Maybe a tee and cap or stickers and a koozie before the villagers start pulling their funds. Two months from now on something I’ve been waiting months for would drive me bananas.

Such a bummer thread. Almost hit the purchase button on a warrior and decided to see what TW said then read 51 pages. Good luck to all of you.

    First off.
Some new guy to TW who probably just got his first RTT… who has some thing he PERSONALLY finds wrong with his tent stirs the pot. Not only this, but I reach out to him about his issues and he won’t even send me a message back or tell me his order number. Or his name. Or any details for that matter…

Then some other guy who was already frustrated because his tent didn’t ship on the first day (apparently he can cut in front of everyone else) reads the complaints from above and decides, that’s it! I’m done here. And he gets going about how his shipping label printed and tracking updated and it still hasn’t come like 7 business days later… going on and on about it. You were so close to the finish line.. but whatever, I get it. Some people just give up instead of staying in the trenches.

This leads to a guy who was legitimately stoked to get his tent. Probably a normal legit dude who’s been doing his thing on TW for a while. Y’all got him all worried about some cosmetic issues that y’all have problems with. Maybe it would have been nothing for this guy (huge maybe, can’t talk for people) but either way, the pressure mounted and after overthinking it decides to cancel his order when it’s literally a day away.

What’s really sad… the first guy who got this hole thing going has his tent. Is using it. And the others haven’t even seen what they waited for yet!
It blows my mind the amount of influence going on here.

DA is a family. Its 3 people. That’s it. Im not included in that.

I’m not tryin to be rude here. They’re doing everything they possibly can to get the tents out. The way that they pallet them, FedEx can only fit 10 tents at a time. They send 1-2 trucks a day. There is over 120 tents to process….

The delays are just as frustrating for them as they are for you. The only thing I hope is the ones who do get their items can get the opportunity to make unforgettable memories with their family in their RTT.
