I'm running 255's and have some rubbing, especially when flexing the front suspension. I do have some room to increase caster, but I opted to do a CMC and trim/mold the wheel liner to eliminate the possibility of rubbing while off roading.

As I mentioned earlier, since I went with the Dakars, which allow for greater droop, I opted for extended length 5100's and figured I may as well do the extended brake lines. I could have gotten away without them in the front, just barely, but they were definitely needed in the rear.

Consider the 6112 set up as well - i havent run 5100's so i cant compare. I can say that the ride on road and in turns feels more planted/confident and seems to have a bit less body roll, i have also hit the rutted up beach at 40-50 mph and was blown away with how the shocks soaked it up.

What are your 6112 notch settings? Also, what rear lift did you go with? Dakars or AAL?

I have an AAL in currently (saving a little bit of money until my next round of upgrades) - and i actually cant speak for the 5160s as i am running the Icons with Resis, the 5160s were OOS at the time.

I am running the 6112s on the 3rd of i believe 5 notches - got around 2 inches out of it with no additional weight currently up front.

Are you still running 265/70/17? I’m running same set up as you in but wanting to downsize my tires, yes downsize, ha. I wanna go a tad bit smaller than my current 285/70/17.

Negative. I've since moved up to 888 coils with 285/70/17 tires.

    A few.
How about 275/70/17s. Seems to be a good size without having to worry about rubbing.
