Had a 700lb utility quad roll backwards on me... handlebars hit me in the gut as it rolled on top of me.... I got up, passed out for 20 minutes, came to and felt ok... except I wasn’t OK. Volunteer fire department came in with a stretcher and took me into the ambulance... we were riding about 2 hours north of where we lived. Medics cut my clothes off and said “you’re internally losing blood and we don’t have much time” as this is going on I wasn’t in much pain and was joking around with them as they weren’t joking around with me:anonymous: . Ambulance took me to a medivac copter and flew me to the nearest hospital near my house. Took 15 minutes versus 2 hour ride. Could only imagine how brother joe felt driving to the hospital. As I entered the hospital there was a priest asking me if there was anything I wanted to say to my family as my wife was waiting to enter my room... I says “ I ain’t dyeing today ... icu 2 days, blood loss from a lacerated liver. Level 4 of 5 level.... no surgery needed and a total of 5 days in the hospital. 2 months out of work and back to normal . Good lord watched out for me that day.

    A thing or two...
I mowed the side yards yesterday evening after work, and the mower was running like hot garbage. I went out to mow the front yard and decided to do some tinkering. The cheap Chinese parts came with a spring that was significantly stiffer than the original spring. The spring hooks to a lever and pulls the throttle open, so I decided to swap it in to see what happened. It worked, but it sounded like the engine was revving way too high. However, while I was swapping springs, I noticed that there was a second hole, so I hooked the original spring in the second hole to give it more tension. That did the trick for now, and the mower ran without the usual surging and stumbling. I still need to look up parts to do a proper tune-up, but it's a lot better.

    Have a great day, Shane.

Are you going to use a different color for the outside corner trim?

8am and it's already 75 degrees, climbing up to 101 again.

    Do not like.
