    My damn dogs are escape artists. I leave the house for 10mins and had them in the fenced in yard. Came back home they are chilling in the driveway. They got out of a 6ft fenced yard. Still havent figured out how they did it. At least they didnt run away. And I live on a major highway.

    My former neighbor had a beagle that was the same way. He would get out on a weekly basis no matter how solid/ secure their fence was. They even did an electric fence/ collar and he figured out how to make the warning beep go off until the battery died. He would frequently end up at my gate and we just let him in to play with our dog until they would get home from work or realize he was gone. Never did figure out how he was getting out.
