I’m at 6 weeks. I wanted to wait for an RSI smart cap, but couldn’t justify the wait and price

Truck finally delivered after 4 months on order! Dealership says I was lucky to order when I did because the wait is 6 months now
Haven’t had a chance to do a proper photoshoot, but couldn’t help but share... went with the 17inch TRD wheels- VERY happy with them. With Toyo AT3s I got a few inches lift. Nice road feel and handling much more grippy on turns. Very quiet tires. Fun times

I have a set of Morimoto fog lights to go in. Got a lead of the headlights I want to match up with the fog lights and also on the side mirror blinkers. Tail lights will be replaced. Not sure if I want Pro or the full red ones from the older Tacoma.

    What next?

Except doing something about the silver plastic (not chrome which I already did the delete) in the interior and molle panels that are on the way she's about done. May switch to sliders instead of steps down the road.

eibach all round with front lift. Wheelers progressive AAL rear. Avid front bumper guard, belly armor. Buddy has OV tune system too so got a mild tune done, major difference and really nice upgrade once everything settled in.

First camping trip was last weekend. Crammed everything in/on for me, wife and our 2 boys. One overly stuffed Taco for sure. Using my small trailer from now on though. 4 kayaks and 3 mountain bikes (wife doesn't ride) and all our crap takes way too much work and time to get stuffed on. Still kept 15mph avg for the trip. Trailer, moving the 2 sit in kayaks on to it will help alot. Hauled a 600lb lawn tractor in my trailer an hour to meet to sell it and Taco didn't even notice through the hills.

Got a chance to test my lighting system a bit too. High beams have more throw than I thought, makes a perfect combo with my ditch lights.

Loving this truck more and more every day.

You can turn those steps into sliders with a cutoff wheel and some rustoleum

My Army Green DCSB OR delivery just got pushed back from 6/8-6/13 to 6/13-6/18. Just one week if that means anything. I just got the text this afternoon.

I highly recommend the @WarFab Armor guys in Montrose, CO. Great guys, great quality and reasonable prices, especially considering the f’d up steel/delivery/employee market right now:thumbsup: got my sliders w/ kickout and got them linex’d for a lil texture and traction. Wife loves them. We actually use the kickouts to sit on and put our ski/snowboard/mountain bike boots and shoes on:cool: only hit em a couple times so far wheeling but I expect to abuse them more as the truck gets older and I get more into 4x4’n. You might have to wait several months to get em though, seems like they are backed up just like every one else these days. Crazy demand and freight difficulties are sorta screwing everybody recently:thumbsup:

Awesome! Recently drove from KC to STL to buy mine. One finally came within reasonable distance that had the pkg I wanted. Passed right through Ozark SP last weekend on my way to Ozark/Ouachita NF to take Kermit on trails for the first time. Still haven’t seen another Army Green but it would have been nice to pass ya!

2 week in and have already swapped the wheels and tires, got tint, swapped out shift knob, blacked out emblems, and added the all weather mats. Plan on getting the KD tune next!!!

Welp, bought my 1-way plane ticket to O’Hare to go pick up my Green Machine next week. I bought it 2 weeks ago and I know some of you can understand the plight of having to wait way longer to get your Taco Verde, but I can hardly wait. It’s my first Tacoma and I’ve been in love with em for the past 8 years. I still can’t believe I got one.

What mats did you get? I'm taking delivery sometime in the next 1-3 months and that's something I'll need to pick up.

Congratulations- you’ll love this truck! I had an 18 sport that although I loved it as well, had some crazy shifting tendencies on the interstate. Always seemed to be searching for a gear around 75-80 mph. I had the software update done at the dealer but still remained that trucks weak point. None of that with this truck. Toyota has done a nice job of tweaking everything for the 2021s - enjoy
