I know exactly where your talking about. With my previous job I worked on a store in Banner Elk and stayed in Boone. It was during the winter to, climbing the mountain every morning in a big old work truck got interesting some days.

Too far away for me...plus I'm in VA until Monday morning...and on Monday apparently winter hell is supposed to hit the state.

Good luck, free bump! If work closes on Mon and you're still stuck I might mount a rescue mission.

My old work truck was an 05 GMC 3500 4x4 with a service body... it plowed through snow like no other. I never had a problem getting up the mountain there.

Was funny because I would always let the other guys leave the hotel before me, they all had vans. I would always pass them about half way up the mountain as they were spinning all over the place. lol

If the weather is truly shitty monday we may close the clinic because the patients can't get there or my staff can't get there...if that happens we NEED to go somewhere and wheel...call you if that goes down?

Glad you got out safe, I live in Boone, would have helped and brought friends to help... But your Title threw me off... It's Watauga County, Boone County is in Idaho or Iowa or something... Guess me and Lrgrnr are gonna have to find someone else to pull out Monday.

We really need to get a push on the Tacoma World Emergency Assistance Network

They charged us 125 and were there in like 15 min. Prob a waste of money but we got it out and home safely so that's all that matters in my eyes. But damn sandman I wish I woulda known! What color is your truck? I saw a couple nicely dome up tacomas out that way. I just wasn't familiar with the area, I just knew we were near boons and assumed it was called boone county
