Was able to secure some Bilstein 5100s for the front. Anyone running these on stock coils?

Yep. Works great. Top perch got me roughly 2 inches of lift and it rides great. Don’t believe all the BS you’ll read saying otherwise.

    Next meet up:

    Browns Camp OHV
    Sunday June 13th
9:45 AM Meet up time @ Chevron North Plains
Rolling out at 10 AM sharp

Going to limit this meet up to six trucks, myself included. Unless there is a person who wants to lead a second group so we can split up. If someone wants to volunteer to do this, let me know.

    ----

    Tentative plans:

    Post Canyon OHV
    Saturday July 10th
9:45 AM Meet up time @ Hood River Walmart parking lot
Rolling out at 10 AM sharp

See how things shake out on this one. I need to get out here a couple more times before then and explore more.

    ----

@Toywoodsguy82 mentioned to me last time we spoke about maybe organizing a meet up at a restaurant to bullshit and hang out. I love this idea. You ready to move forward with this? Perhaps we could make this a monthly thing and really get this group some face time.

Yes, briefly. It will get the same amount of suspension lift with any size tires on it. Also, just to clarify it rides great even with 33 inch mud terrains.

I used to host sandrail/buggy meetups on a monthly basis over at Buster's BBQ on Hwy99. Called it the "Buggy Meat and Greet"

They have a a huge parking lot out back where we would literally bring our junk on trailers (running or not) and create a small car show, swap meet, BS session. Then head in for lunch.

Inside the have (or at least had) a good sized meeting room we would set up in for lunch, sticker swap, slide shows, laptop demonstrations and further BS for another hour or so. There were outlets for power as needed.

Buster's was very supportive of our group. Just call ahead and let them know you (and friends) are coming and need the big room.

I ended up choosing Buster's for the big parking lot, big meeting room, Buster's chill attitude towards us, and located just off the highway that was good for everyone coming in from 20-30 miles in any direction. It was an easy sell to everyone. We had no less than 5 and upwards of 20 show up every month. Even had a guy fly in from Arizona a few times to hang out with us. He was a software nerd that did a lot to develop LINK, a standalone ECU/software system to run the Subaru EJ20 in sandrails.

Looking forward to seeing what you are able to line up for a monthly meetup.

Mark me down for 7/10 as well. Never been there and would love to check it out.
Busters off 99 would be a great place to meet up, my family used to own the pub next to it and i used to sneak in there all the time.

Not sure how the management is nowadays, but back in the early-mid 2000's, they really liked us and accomodated us greatly with space to spread out inside and out.

I did make a run up to see how the trail to Badger Lake looked and found heavy snow at the 5000ft level... Timothy Lake was open but the back way in from Estacada was closed from last summer's fire. Harriett Lake was open from the Timothy Lake side but was also closed from the Estacada side due to fire damage. So it looks like a few more weeks before a Badger Run will be on the list.
