Replaced all 4 O2 sensors along with the center carrier bearing, no more P0420 but still have that take off shutter. As a bonus a buddy of mine traded me his steering wheel controls + airbag

Looks great, I’m about to do this one. Did you go with steel or aluminum?

I wanted to do some stuff today, but things went a little sideways.

Turns out you can’t do the standard mods needed to install the Expedition Essentials compressor mount on the passenger side without relocating the AC power outlet. I now have one of these on the way:

Broke 2 of 6 bolts trying to get everything snugged up. Neat.*

*screaming and cursing removed for brevity

Tore a passenger side cv axle. Replaced the passenger and driver side with Napa cv’s. One reason being their 3 ribbed boot on the inside which drastically increases the space in between each rib. I have also read some good reviews on the durability of them.

I will be rebooting the oem axles and eventually replacing them but for now these will do.

Just tore a drivers inner boot driving down to Nevada. Ordered a Toyota boot kit for both sides to redo whenI get home this week. But may buy these also for spares.

From what I can tell they are made of good quality for sure. They also come with all dust shields installed on each end, which is nice. I wanted to reboot at my own leisure and couldn’t have the truck down for me to lazily do it so ended up just throwing these on. Can’t beat $103 each.

Spent 3 days at George Washington National Forest in VA. Camped at Flagpole Knob Thursday night which was really cool. Woke up Friday morning to about 50* and a 10 mph breeze with about 25 mph gusts. Was pretty happy that I brought a pullover. Went hiking Friday at Crabtree Falls below Stuarts Draft. Spent Friday night at the end of Hone Quarry Rd. Both nights, after getting to the campsites I didn't see or hear another person. Today I did the section of Flagpole knob road between Flagpole knob and Meadow Knob to the end of the forest service road again. Then rode out towards Massenutten Mountain and drove around. Ended up at the trailhead for the Peters Mill Run trail. It was ok, but nothing to crazy. Overall a much needed battery recharge.

While waiting on the temperature to drop after cleaning sheds that my father hadn’t cleaned in 30 years. I drove into town and washed my truck. It had 700 miles of baked on bugs from the drive down. Now I can see out my windows for the drive home on Monday. Got 1/2 a shed left to clean out tomorrow and I am done. Two trips down and 35 yards of trash and scrap thrown away. Plus many a run into Carson to drop off at the Goodwill.

I like this idea. Them you get to see a different truck depending on which side you walk out to. I'd be funny

They are brighter, there’s a led bulb in the projector. The light pattern is a lot different from stock. I do need to aim them
