So, I’ve got a Milwaukee dilemma... which battery deal should I go for? Both are the same price and theoretically the same amp hour, but one is (2) 4.0 & (2) 2.0 and the other deal is (2) 6.0.

I’ve already got the M18 lineup, so this is really just for the radio, rapid inflator, drill, flashlight, right angle die grinder, and to help expand for future M12 tool purchases. (Maybe soldering iron, hatchet, cutoff wheel tool)

    My current battery stash for M12 is (1) 4.0, (1) 2.0 and (2) 1.5.

I’m leaning towards the 6.0 pack since my future purchases will possibly be high draw.

Help spend my money (wisely) TW!

How’d your tools come packaged, I’m suspect to an open box item on mine... I had a torn box tab, with tape on it, and there was no packaging to hold the tool or plastic bag around the tool. I’ve purchased enough Milwaukee stuff to know this seems sub-par for packaging.
Can you 2 confirm that this isn’t how yours were packaged?
    Thanks!

I got the M18 chainsaw kit (tool, rapid charger and 12ah battery) with free 8ah battery at Home Despot for $449. Expensive but very handy.

i love my Milwaukee tools. the little portable wet vac with 12ah battery come in so handy, especially when it comes time to clean out the truck. I have a 12v drill, several portable work lights, an 18v hammer drill, a 1/2 impact wrench, an 18v impact, the little portable fan, too many batteries to list, an angle grinder, and i just got the little chainsaw which i havent used yet....

Mine came with the Milwaukee booklets, user guide etc, cardboard around the tool and the tool was wrapped in plastic that was on par with regular Milwaukee packaging.

Thanks for the confirmation, it seems to work fine with a few zips, but it didn’t sit right with me.
I’m going to see if they’ll stand behind the sale. (They should since it’s technically Amazon)

I’d go for the 4 battery kit. IMHo

oops didn’t read the whole thing. Two large ah batteries would be nice additions to what you already have over more small and medium batteries.

I find that I need only one more battery than I have tools, pop one on the charger and keep the project moving along.

Yeah, I’m thinking the larger ones too, I can run flashlights and Bluetooth speakers on low amp hour batteries while keeping the workhorses on the larger... so +1 for the 6.0!
