Hoping I have everything I need for when the truck gets out of the shop next week.

might be lacking leafspring bolts and sawzall blades, but I can get those local I’d imagine.

Front brakes day today. New pads and rotors due to the dimpled and slotted disc warping. Pads were fine but I’m in there so might as well do them and eliminate a variable. Probably time for some caliper and brake lines next. They look pretty dirty and old. An ounce of prevention is worth a ton in the middle of nowhere.

    Get a cheap meter.

I think White/black is usually ground.

Not to the Tacoma, but the 4Runner has a new happy home as of today. Was a fun truck, but we weren't using it as much as we planned, so it was time for it to go. Still pretty clean, so it went fast.

Took off the canopy because its in major need of restoration. I think I'm gonna raptor line it black. Opinions?

Having it off allowed me to use my truck as a truck. It rides a lot smoother with some weight in the back.

They are great cars and I loved my turbo but dam they break a lot and are costly to run.
But it looks like you probably can fix those issues.

Hope your timing belt(chain) and timing idler pulley are holding up together still.
You Have to pull the motor to get to the timing belt and the idler pulley tends to wear out 1st around 75-100k on the v8.
Why Audi would put it in the back of the motor is just crazy,
Maybe they fix that tho now depending on the year

Night and day difference. I also replaced the light bulb in the shifter since I was there. It was super easy to do. Easier than I thought it would be.
