My buddy had a dart with that tiger shark 2.4 and the engine had to be replaced at about 10k miles due to excessive oil consumption. That car had so many other problems as well, terrible quality.

It used oil with the new engine as well, just a bit less.

I didn't find out about the oil consumption issue until I was driving down the freeway going about 65 mph and the entire car just died on me - no power steering, brakes were a brick, completely just died. Managed to pull it over to the side of the road and after a few minutes got it started and drove into work. Called the nearest Jeep dealership to my work, service guy was like "Oh yeah, it's probably out of oil, happens on these." didn't think he was right because I just had an oil change not that long ago but I went to check it, he was right, bone dry.

Had this in my desk (because for some reason I keep records like this from past vehicles).

Traded in my 2014 RWD 6 spd 435i. It was such a headache to own. Got the TRD and all my migraines just disappeared.

I guess it was just first year of model things. The rear main seal went at 60k, and along with it went the head gasket. Before hand there were a bunch of electronic gremlins, audio would cut off, the software with all my favorite stations would wipe itself clean like clockwork. Oh and it had a plastic turbo charge pipe that would blow into pieces pulling into the highway putting you at a limp mode in dangerous high speed situations. It was just a car that had the feeling it would leave you stranded any time, just eyeing it would make the car break.

2019 Grand Cherokee Upland. Very nice, quick, comfortable ride. However, it wasn’t something I could commit to long term (fit/finish and quality overall).

It was great truck, by the idea. 4x4, short base, loking rear diff e.t.c. NICE ENGINE with plenty of torque.
Never got stuck, even in toughest off-road conditions.
But... Rusting since day 1 of ownership, like hell ( Dunno, if they stomping body panels out of food cans recycled metal???)
Was planning to drive it for 10 more or so years, but have figured out - in 2 years it will be solid piece of rust with no
    trade-in value...
Last drop... Climate control computer vent off, just 700 km before extended warranty ends. Replaced under warranty,

Thank you, Nissan, but NO THANKS!

Find used 2019 (!) 7000 km, 7 months old TRD OR AC LB 6MT for very pleasant price. Sooo happy!

I traded a $34.500 check for my 2021 DCSB TRD OR 4wd manual last week.
    Seemed like a fair trade

an '02 ranger. i had intended to keep it for as long as possible before the underbody ate itself to a condition that i couldn't replace. that turned into only 4 years.

So nice to have a truck instead of a station wagon. That's main reason I ditched the T4R, just couldn't commit and the liftgate just got tiresome.

I traded in my '19 SR5 for '21 TRD OR.

I got side swiped a week after purchasing the SR5 and it always bugged me. I was also spending a ton on mods that the OR came with. I stripped all the mods off the SR5 before I let her go.
