Took me about :45-1:00. I watched the video posted here on this thread at least twice. Really helps a lot. Lucky me I didn't break any clips. I did the install during winter but I warmed up the garage first. Time and patience. Prior to removing the Halogen assembly, I marked the beam pattern in garage wall so you I can see if i needed to adjust afterwards. All I had to do was the RH.

Has anyone also replaced their fogs to the OEM fogs? Wondering if the color temp of the lights match the OEM led headlights.

OEM TRD H11 fog lights aren’t bad but most of us decide to just go LED there. See also the 3rd gen fog thread.

it’s actually easier than you think. This was my second time dropping the bumper (installed MESO head light plates) so it was quicker. Just make sure you have replacement clips for the fender flairs. It was less than an hour all said and done, and I was taking a lot of pictures.

How did you get the lights to be orange on the first picture?

also, do you have the part number for the clips?

I went generic on clips. Because they aren’t really all that sophisticated.

I found 6000K temp was closest to match the OEM LED headlights.
    I tried 6500K , 6000K , 5000K
I did not have 5500K available to try and stayed with I already had

I'm guessing he timed it with the flash from the hazards.

Ask crash in the fog thread, assuming you don’t see them already covered by existing testing.

@Rainoffire is correct. Just timed it. You can do the orange. But you have to pull the lights apart and change the LED’s, I believe. I know @MESO did it.

Here is the part number for the clips. You don’t need 6 of the orange ones, just two orange and two blue. I got extra just in case. Just a waste of money. The orange ones are expensive.

I was in the same boat.
This thread pushed me to do it and pushed me to buy the truck I have now that didn't come with LED headlights.
Its not bad, just kinda sucks ripping apart your brand new truck.

I swapped out the oem led fogs when i did the headlight swap. I took a pic against the garage door at dusk before a night drive thats twards the bottom of page 70. Not the best pic but decent color temp difference.

The fogs look to be more of a white color than headlights. Does that seem right to you?

I don’t notice a color difference at night with both on, even looking head on and they do have a good amount of wider coverage for the side of the road. I have back roads with ditches where i live and it helps. I’m still happy with them and may swap to yellow SS3’s down the road.

thanks. I’m currently running these in my lows and fogs and I really like the color. Light output isn’t so bad either. I’m hoping the OEM led headlights are around the same color temp.

Yeah, I couldn't find any that came with the $485 LED headlight option either.

The lowest price I found for the non trd pro led are about $650 each, has anyone found them cheaper?
