Slept in this morning, it was nice being back home in my bed, few more years and I'll relocate that bed to the farm, 90 min South of SA.

We trapped the sister feral kitten Saturday evening, I put gloves on and pulled her out of cage, to change the spoiled bedding, she was fine, no claws out etc, petted her for few mins while the wife cleaned the cage, went to put her back in, she turned on full wild ass mountain lion mode on me, lol, never lost grip on the back of her, but it was bit of a struggle to put her back in the carrier. That's OK, she needs to be a fighter to survive outdoors.
She is getting spayed today, hopefully rabies shot as well, she was at 2.8lbs, they need to 3lbs for rabies, feral cat rescue woman said she would give her lots of food yesterday.
On Saturday evening/night we got heavy rains, woke up Sunday and walking around the fenced yard at the trailer and spotted large kitty tracks, lol. Probably bobcat looking for an easy snack looking for a crying kitten overnight.

The large cat walked up back deck with a screen door, there was a box fan on high airing out a back room all night, the fan noise did not deter the cat. I'm going to have set a much larger trap, this behavior is a little bit concerning.
