Exciting race weekend. No more gripes about F1 being boring mmmkay?

All it takes is a couple “Good” tires blowing out to make it interesting!

I was wondering why verstappen didn't limp back to the pits to try for some points. It looked like a tire and wing change would have been all that was needed.

I would rather see tire deg that at least gives the team a chance to make a decision, good or bad. The "explode with no warning" is not optimal. Unless Horner was fibbing and they did have warning that they ignored.

What a race. My buddy watched it before i was able to and just sent me a 'popcorn emoji' when i asked how it was. So I knew i was in for a treat. Really bummed for Max, really happy for Hamilton. Glad to see Gasley on the podium, i actually like the whole podium. Pretty good day for AlphaTauri in general with Tsunoda in the points as well. Although they didn't finish on the podium its nice to see Ferarri putting up a fight these days. Was a little disappointed in McLarens overall performance. Looking forward to "track" races coming up.

The rotational forces on that straight are phenomenally high. (Not excusing Pirelli -- they've been there before.)

I think the race was interesting even without the tire drama.

Even though the driver's championship remains static on points, I think this is bad for Max.
This track suits his car and it was a good opportunity to score (or outscore Merc) plus, to make things a little worse, they lost Singapore which is another "good track" for Red Bull.

My 81 year old father would watch Nascar when it was on and I got him to watch F1 since the start of the season and he likes it way better than nascar. Even the least exciting F1 race is better than the most exciting nascar race.

It did RB no favours asking for a red flag, they likely would have finished under a safety car if they said nothing…

I heard that roadway was was washed out. If it was at Au Rouge that could be tough.
