@kasnerd I park my truck under a tree (don't really have a choice) so the bed is always full of acorns. I'll be out on a trail and think I blew my diff when I take a corner as they all roll to one side.

I have a YouTube video of the sidewalls of my 35's doing this, on the dyno.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
hahah. we have a bunch of oaks here and a few years ago had a bumper crop of acorns and no joke they were everywhere. Squirrels managed to get a stash into the a/c compressor and when I turned it on for the first time after winter, the sound of them hitting the fan was like a tree chipper. They vibrated and fell into the fan. Pulled out two handfuls after frantically trying to turn it off. Stupid squirrels.

Does anyone know where to source OEM CVs that I can ship to JD Fab? I tried LKQ Online, but despite the listing saying OEM, they were not.

Should I roll the dice with LKQ again or do you have another source? Maybe it was just a fluke, I haven’t heard from the shop if the other axle was OEM or not.

We have only received the one thus far and it was not OE... I’ve ordered from LKQ a few times and always got OE but it’s a total craps shoot

If the other is ok then I’ll try to reach out to their store and see if I can ensure an OEM axle is sent next time.

So I just ordered a plasma table and I wanna start drawing up some ideas. I thought about making my own spindles based off the oem knuckle but if I remember correctly, is the limiting factor on the 2.25” kit the upper uniball, upper and lower uniball or is the 934 gonna max out soon anyways. I thought about going with a vertical uniball to try and fiddle with getting more travel at the loss of steering angle. Also thought about getting a Dana 44 snout block and going that direction but idk how I would adapt the outer cv to that. I’m just spit ballin here but I think it would be a cool project.

Look at the solo xlt spindle for ideas. Think they use a d44 snout and vertical uniballs to get all that extra 4wd travel. I know for me the uniballs are what’s limiting travel up front. Cv's could go another inch or so

Yeah but have to get their axles and I’d rather just adapt my 934 extended axles maybe putting 930 on the outer would be cool if I could find out what hubs that’s for.

930 non plunging outers with custom spindles/hubs... I could do this with a 934 stub shaft to run 934 inners/outers but the problem is no one will be willing to pay for it. The custom spindles/hubs/brakes would be about $10k

I was just saying for reference. But yeah, not sure how you’d adapt the outers

Wow , so have you thought about a way to beef up the stock hubs without all that?
