The city just dropped off 230 sets of plans and specifications for campus projects that I need to go through. 99% of them we probably already have, 0.5% we won't need so I'll probably end up keeping one.

    Near death experiences:

Elk jumped over my hood on a highway as I was doing 60+ through Orderville Canyon in the pitch black. Had my head down reading the map at the time so my world just would have exploded then dead. Buddy in the truck behind me told me about it on the radio. All I caught was back hoof out the corner of my eye.

Got a terminal lean going during a rock scramble on a tricky spot in SoCal. Buddy offered a hand right before it went from bad to deadly. Would have been a 60-80 foot rocky fall into a body of water miles from anywhere otherwise.

Oh, and also there was that time my pancreas decided to fall asleep on the job and I got to visit Walter Reed via the medevac entrance. Turns out your blood sugar sustaining 800 and losing 15% of your body weight isn't good for you.

@Fargo Taco if you need me to edit this before the investigation let me know and we’ll act like we were talking about kittens.

Have the intern fire up a stogey under the sprinklers. Sorry, the plans are soaking wet, guess we can't do it.

It's actually been nice these past 3 weeks being able to run some manuals and write my own programs and run my own projects on cnc. Didn't learn anything new in these classes but reminded me how much machining I'm not doing, being a glorified button pusher.

This is my last week of days and classes. Still not a lot of work at work so I still wait around Mon-Tues doing nothing. Real boring. Wed-Fri is CNC lathes class.

    My near death experience.

    Thunder showers outside
    Lots of lightning.
I’m in the living room and I’m hearing this buzzing sound every min or so.
    Sounds like downstairs.
So I walk down and into the back room where the furnace is.
Sounds like a relay buzz but loud.
My oil tank is to the right of the entry way.
I walk in and my right elbow touches the tank.
I saw stars and felt my heart skip a few beats.
I got hit with either lightning or static electricity.
    Peed my pants
Was numb all over for like 30 seconds
Just stood there leaning against the door.
Walked up and Carol was in bed and I sat on the edge.
I didn’t want to lay down. Carol was scared. So was I.
After about 15 min I was fine but Jesus that screwed me up..

Nope, it's just a flesh wound. I finished the garden work, came in and hit it with peroxide.

Making two of these for something. They get welded beside each other, not sure if for a cylinder or what. They’re 1” thick, the hole is 40MM, and the chamfer will be filled with weld
