    "Instagram Hill" :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

That's what it should be called!

I hate to admit that I drive up there and take pictures every damn time! It's just a good scene.

BTW, we should see who has the best shot from that day and put it in the running for the calendar next year!

Near Mountain. Forest Road 55552. Get the MVUM to make sure you stay out of closed the sections.

    It's in the circled area.

    sketch-1623086133927.jpg

The Pipeline is mostly pretty easy. Any difficult obstacles generally have an easier side trail. Also, there are a ton of other logging roads to putz around on. As I mentioned above, use the MVUM map to find out which roads you're allowed on and when.

And don't post about it on Facebook unless you want to get lectured by people who claim the whole trail is closed.

    MVUM maps:

    https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/cnnf/maps-pubs

With Avenza maps you can view the maps with active GPS so you can be sure of where you are. They are offline maps so no concern about reception/data.

ONXoff-road is also nice for finding trails. Make sure to adjust the settings to only show "high clearance 4×4" and "overland" trails so you don't wind up on an ATV trail.

Thanks for the info but I probably won’t be making that 3.5 hour drive any time soon. Looks cool though.

Awe, 3.5 hours is nothing. I drive up there all the time. Unfortunately, if you want to hit any trails in Wisconsin, you're going to have to drive a bit.

Let me know if you want to meet up up there sometime. I'm hoping to do a group run there maybe mid-july.

Oh shoot! Now you know where all the secret spots are LOL

I'd be in for a group outing long as it's not July 16th/17th

I usually drive up Friday and camp, and drive back Saturday night. Or, Sunday morning. But, I've done a few day trips. Usually leave around 4-5 AM, and head home at sunset. It's a long day, but it's worth it. :)

Hoping we can do a Sunday trip!

Work doesn't make taking Saturdays off easy, but with the current car inventory issues.. I may have some additional time off if we sell all of our inventory this month
