I have a high flow cat, vibrant resonator and banks muffler all after the JFR Ypipe merge with no sound issues besides a bit of drone on the highway. Exhaust tone doesn't sound as good as shorty headers with 2 cats and TRD catback, but its not bad either.

Got the belt on this weekend. The tensioner sits in the normal range per the little indicator on it.
So far so good. Time to see if I find more boost with this belt. Lol!

I didn’t know deleting all 4 cats would leave you with a horrible rasp/buzzing at the collector of the y-pipe. After reading that this is a common problem unless you add a resonator or 2, you’ll end up with a bad sounding exhaust. So that’s what I plan to do. I’m sure you’ll be fine with what you got.

So my truck has a rough idle that seems to be getting worse, when my previous (1st gen) had a similar issue I sent some Injectors out to Witchhunter to get flow matched and cleaned made a huge difference, however Witchhunter doesn't seem to be taking on order right now so my question is:

I am N/A, can I order the TRD "orange top" Injectors and install them in the factory N/A fuel rail and run them?

Will the computer be able to adjust to the higher flowing Injectors on the N/A tune?

If that will work what's the part number for them?

No. Not without entering the new injector size in a tuner. Just get new oem na ones

Have you cleaned the MAF and throttle body and then followed up by an ECU reset? Mileage on spark plugs?

If deduction really points to poor peforming fuel injectors, one of the boosted guys probably has a set of the stock NA injectors. I gave mine away for free to a guy that does ultrasound cleaning. There's not a huge demand for them.

I believe I still have my injectors from before I added my supercharger. They only have 13-14k miles if your interested. I’ll let em go real cheap.

PTR24-35071 is the part number for the TRD S/C Injectors. However, as others have stated, you'll need to a reflash to use them. They are about 50% larger than the N/A injectors. You'd end up throwing a CEL for the fuel trims being way off and be GROSSLY over-rich in OL as the stock tune is already overly rich as is.

URD, thanks I checked page 1. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a latest and greatest out there. Apparently I haven't learned the buy once cry once theory.

I have a set to send off, was just hoping the stock ECU could self learn given they're still 'factory' Injectors and accommodate the TRD open duration based on AFRs.

Yes I did a full top end induction cleaning last year MAF and TB are all clean ECU gets reset frequently as I work on it a lot, spark plugs are NGK Iridium and have about 40k(?) on them.

Either my fuel pressure is off at idle due to my intake and where I have the vacuum line for the diaphragm regulator and/or other mods, or, my injectors are that out of wack after 245k+ miles on the original set.

That's about the milage when I refreshed the ones on my 1st gen.

As is it bucks about once sometimes twice every 10 seconds about as much as it would if somebody were to shut the passenger door.

It's always had a little bit of a pulse at idle as far as I can remember having the truck but it's definitely worse now, and again it feels like my 1st gen almost when it had an injector or two going bad.

No codes or other driveability issues, mileage and performance is on the higher end of about what you would expect given my weight mods and stock gears.

Unfortunately you can’t just add an additional 50% more fuel and rely on the fuel trims to correct it, and there’s no way the ECU can compensate when in Open Loop.

there are other options for pulleys. all depends on the needs of your build goals.

Interesting the coolant house is routed by the battery like that. Usually routed behind under to the right away from that area.

the inner fenders are about to get cut out and replaced so things will get massaged before it's all done. coolant tank will get swapped for a howe tank. new intake and UMP happening. has the bully tune and we will migrate to a hptune setup eventually.
