This is correct, except no trailing stops @TreeFortRichard . When it really gets going, if you have a 10% or 20% stop set after your threshold and it's trading in the 10's of thousands, you'll get wiped after the first margin call when the price settles to breathe before it shoots up again. Limit sells are the way to go. The volatility is going to be ridiculous beyond measure. Market orders will get side-fucked on low ask prices trying to scalp them and stops are going to get wiped out after every jump in price.

I have almost zero doubt in my mind I can become a billionaire if I'm brave enough to stick to the strategy I've set for myself. On paper, it's solid -- if it's allowed to play out how it should.

Of course, when 2 commas are getting thrown around up and down in the span of minutes, you start to re-adjust your strategy a bit, and there's the untold variable of the .gov.

But $100k as an account value? $100k per share is a foregone conclusion at this point. Doesn't even really hurt the world at $100k a share. Plenty of money to go around. When it starts hitting upper hundred thousands or millions per share, that's when I'm worried somebody is going to step in and shut it down.

im no shill, and im unsure if these are delusions of grandeur....but the zone of 100k/share will never happen, lots of reasons and people to sell 3x over at 10/20k before then....

$100k doesn't even start to tap the DTCC's assets under management. The "insurance" as people like to call it.

I agree, the .gov could step in at any time and shut it down because, well, they're the .gov. But $100k/share doesn't even put a hurt on the financial systems, even if the numbers are true and there's 3-10 times the float to be covered.

Problem is, when the big shorts are forced to cover, the price is going to just keep gapping up then settle each time a fund is liquidated, then keep gapping up again.

The math, logic, and data is all there. The big "what if" is how far do they let it go.

If it's allowed to play out, $100k a share should be seen on the 2nd or 3rd day of the squeeze. After that it starts climbing at an equally rapid pace until it becomes uncontrollable and bankrupts the world. Obviously that's not going to be allowed to happen, so we'll see where the world "leaders" step in and stop it.

 

I responsibly sold 3 of my 4 $CLOV $10 6/18 calls today for profit...
and of course immediately regret it...BUT it lets me hold the 4th one for whatever insanity ensues between now and 6/18 because it really looks like it could go to $20+ by then....

And yes the whole million a share thing...
I'm of the 5 figure a share "reality" anything over that is extraordinarily unlikely to be allowed to happen in the sense that things will get shuffled around in rooms we can't listen in on...and YET not something I can't imagine...
I have set trailing stops already set for 5 shares each...but they trigger when the price is 1,000,000...That's what I mean by a "trailing stop" it's triggered on price so it lets you actually set a de facto limit sale at a quote presently not allowed because it's too far in excess of the present price

 

That's always been the crux. The way to solve that is to have GME issue shares via dark pools. They cover the float and GME announces it after the makers have already received their shares. Share offerings happen that way all the time. As long the the SEC paperwork is filed it's legal. And it would be really easy for the SEC to "forget" to publish that particular form 10 until after the event takes place.

So I'm guessing it no longer accepts some parameter of the trailing stops I ALREADY have set...

 

A possibility, but Ryan Cohen as a person has demonstrated time and time again that his mantra for running businesses is customers first. Fucking his customers out of millions of dollars would be a bad strategy. Could he be forced to do it? Maybe. But I believe it would be against his will. If that were the case and shares were issued in dark pools to dilute it to the point where it could be easily covered it would do more damage to the GME brand than could ever be recovered.

Ok. I figured it out, you can't set a Trailing Stop $ amount in excess of the actual present trading value...
SO if I say "When it hits 1,000,000 set a trailing stop loss of $250,000 for 5 shares"
It will reject that because 250,000 is far in excess of the current price...
but I can set an order that says
When it hits 1,000,000 set a trailing stop loss of 25% for 5 shares...
Same pizza, different box!
